We’re proud to be publishing the collected writings of Sir Robert Worcester, the pollster, political commentator and founder of MORI. He’s advised Prime Ministers and Royalty and made a huge contribution to public life, particularly in conservation,. The two-volume collection covers reputation, public opinion and politics with insights into big issues .ike science and the environment. It also features an extended and exclusive interview with Sir Robert, charting his life from growing up in Kansas City to leading the world-wide celebrations for 800 years of Magna Carta. That’s out in November, and for something rather different, in December we have the latest in the Clemency White series - Come Spy With Me.
New imprint Asp launches
Our vision is to create a series of crime and espionage titles which combine excitement and drama with insights into the modern world. These are thrillers for readers who want more than just thrills. They want to get under the skin of the characters, learn more about the locations, and have greater insight into the politics. We’re inspired more by Ruth Rendel or Eric Ambler than, say, John Sandford or Tom Clancy. The series will also use the smaller paperback format that was traditional for mass-market paperbacks - if it was good enough for Graham Greene and Len Deighton, it’s good enough for us. And as the books will be small, with a bit of bite, we’ve calling the imprint Asp.

Aid charity From Syria With Love has teamed up with IndieBooks to publish a unique portrait of the lives of children caught up in the Syrian conflict
Aid charity From Syria With Love has teamed up with IndieBooks to publish a unique portrait of the lives of children caught up in the Syrian conflict. The book, also ‘From Syria With Love’, features a group of children now living in a refugee camp in Lebanon. It combines their poems, pictures, letters and diaries with narratives and poetry by those who have worked with the children or been inspired by their stories. Editor and contributor, Molly Masters, is a university student who was inspired first to volunteer with the charity and then launch the project.
'We’ve all seen the terrible images from Syria on television’, said Molly. ‘In this book, we wanted to show the lives of real children, what conflict and exile means for them, and their hopes for the future. It doesn’t ignore the suffering, but the message is one of peace and love.’
Funds raised by the book will be used to help those featured within it, continuing the charity’s work in the Al Abrar refugee camp.
This is the latest charity fundraising book from IndieBooks, who have just released a paperback of the anthology Why Willows Weep, which raised over £60,000 for the Woodland Trust in hardback.
From Syria With Love will be released on November 1st 2016.
